The Best Markets Near Algarve And Barcelona Hotels
With many of the goods manufactured outside of Spain, you won't find an authentic souvenir in the tourist boutiques. Support the local community on your holiday by shopping at markets and giving your cash to the local community rather than expensive tourist boutiques. Most markets are located within walking distance to Barcelona hotels or Algarve tourist resorts.
Art for the Home
The market is next to the Sant Josep Church and includes work from fifteen artists at any one time. The artist's all have very different styles and whether you prefer Banksy or Bacciccio you'll find something suitable here.

An unusual Christmas tradition is to place defecating figures among the figures in a nativity scene, these figures can be purchased from Placa de le Seu. Cagnares have been met with resistance from the Catholic Church who claim the figures are extremely distasteful. If you're after a Christmas decoration that's a bit more traditional, the markets many stalls should have something to suit your tastes.
